Start with the town

Most guests will stay in downtown Greenville, so venue pages show the drive from Main Street wherever we could map the address. Thirty minutes is a nice evening. Fifty is a shuttle conversation.

What we check on every venue

We read the venue's own site, its FAQ and its wedding guide if it has one. We do not copy numbers from the big wedding directories, and we do not guess. If a venue does not publish something, the listing says so.

That means some listings are thin. A thin, true listing is more useful than a full one you cannot trust.

How we verify listings
Capacity
The number the venue states, and whether it is seated or standing
Indoor or outdoor

Catering
In-house only, an approved list, or any licensed caterer
Starting price
Only if the venue publishes it, with a link to the page
Drive
Road minutes from downtown Greenville, no traffic
Checked
The date we last read their site
