Upstate Wedding Guide (upstateweddingguide.com) is run by Upstate Wedding Guide. You can reach us at hello@upstateweddingguide.com.

What we collect

Reading the guide does not require an account, and we do not ask for anything to browse it. We collect information only when you send it to us: through the claim and correction form, or by email. That is usually your name, your email address, the business and website you are writing about, and your message.

We do not run advertising trackers, analytics scripts or marketing pixels. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and running.

How we use it

We use what you send to review the listing, check it against the business's own website, make the change, and reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

A few service providers handle it on the way: Cloudflare hosts the site and runs Turnstile, a spam check on the form that may process technical details about your browser, and an email delivery service passes form messages to our inbox. They handle it only to provide those services.

Links to other sites

Listings link to venues' and vendors' own websites and social accounts. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply, not this one.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep the listing accurate. Ask and we will delete them sooner.

Your choices

Email hello@upstateweddingguide.com to ask what we have from you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you run a listed business and want your listing removed, the same address works.

Children

This site is written for adults planning weddings. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date below.
